My 2009 3.8 sedan can not get steering wheel to adjust up down or in and out
 
I had similar issue. My steering wheel stuck in very low position and was going up and down like only half inch. I did reset procedure and it fixed. Try it. I attached screenshot image from TSB PDF file. PDF file also attached.

The control module for the steering wheel may need to be replaced even if the reset process works.
