  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Need Paint code for '12 Black Noir Pearl

Actually, my tire guy installed the stock sensors from my previous wheels onto the Vertini's. No problems with the installation. Are the new sensors you ordered different in any way?

I purchased new sensors from tirerack with my tires. They matched them to the Genesis but did not know anything about my Vertini's. The place that had problems was Big O tires. I was NOT impressed by their knowledge or troubleshooting skills. I will take them to another place today. And I will also call the place where I purchased the wheels - they are probably the correct people to work with as they should know what the wheels require.

My plan is to sell my stock Rspec 19 wheels and tires as a package. I am curious as to what they will sell for.

Thanks.
Newman

Update: I contacted Element Wheels, where I purchased my Vertini wheels. They sold me some ORO sensors. The ORO sensors have a 20-40 degree flex from the valve stem to the sensor body allow them to fit to aftermarket wheels better. They should be here on Monday.

Cheers,
Newman

Sounds good! Post some pics of your new wheels when you get a chance. Also let us know what direction you take regarding the exhaust. I have a new cold air intake en route which may make my car even louder, particularly under heavy throttle, so I may revisit the whole X-pipe muffler thing again if it seems to be too much.

Take care,
Jason

Sweet! Please do give details on e cold air intake when it arrives. I was thinking of installing one - perhaps without any exhaust mods. Can you provide details on where you got it and you configured it?

Thanks,

No problem, check out this thread where I talk about it: http://genesisowners.com/hyundai-genesis-forum/showthread.php?p=75130#post75130

It's not from one of the known manufacturers such as Injen but people are using it and it's the only one I've found for the Genesis sedan at this point.

So the wheels are mounted and road-force balanced. Pictures here! I had a bit of an adventure finding and obtaining the correct after-market TPMS senors to fit the Vertini's. Also finding a place that could mount everything. But all is well now. Just need the car. The hope is that the car will be here within a week.

Cheers,
Newman

Let me know what you get for price on the headliner, maybe it would interest me, cause I sure liked the headliner in the Equus. .

Scottdk - I received a quote today for about $300 for a suede headliner installed. Once I get my vehicle I am going to pull the trigger on this. It will possibly be a subtle change that most won't notice but I think that they look classy.

I will post pictures once I get the vehicle done. It will probably be a few weeks yet.

Sounds good to me. I can't get the darn company I emailed about the stitching to email me back now:( Whatever, I'm not in any hurry.

No new pictures of the rims. I will be getting new tires installed tomorrow though. I hadn't intended on taking pictures. I'm upgrading in size and quality over the original Dunlops. I'm getting Kumho Exsta Platinum, 245/50/18s.

I have the rear lip spoiler from CarID and my paint code was also AF for Black Noir Pearl. I haven't heard of Phantom Black. I guess it must be new.

I just found out tonight from another forum member that an image of my car was being used on an EBay to sell a spoiler from a place called Advanation http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Hyun...Q5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories#ht_5047wt_1167. The price is $139 painted. This isn't where I got mine and I don't think the brand is the same. I believe mine was the JKS model on CarID. You can check out my photo album to see what it looks like.

do you get any drone from the mufflers? I have a 5.0 and I was wondering since both of my Corvetts had a drone for about 6 months or so>
