  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

This is regarding a check engine light issue that has been described in this thread: Shopping for an oil control valve 243603C810 for Genny 2009

The dealer hourly labor rates are way to high around the bay area. :( Anyone knows an alternative within ~200 miles of here that can take apart the engine and replace camshafts?!

They did the steering wheel movement issue diagnosis and fix for my 2009 Genesis Sedan 4.6 last year (in 1st quarter), and it is working fine. They were knowledgeable. Price was less than the dealer. Issue with these cars is that normal mechanics are not familiar with these cars due to the fewer #s in circulation. Best of luck. Pls keep us informed of your experience.
Thanks
