  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

So I have installed the amp correctly it turns on and my loc powers up but I'm needing help finding a 12v switched fuse in the fuse box on the right side of the trunk any help I noticed that the radio fuse is there but I does not switch off.The doors lock buttons won't work with the loc connected to wire 22 on the pin out which is an acc power switched the amp shuts off now but no door lock buttons work on the car my fob still starts and unlocks all doors but the out side buttons wont lock or unlock the door without the fob what could this be. Do you know of a wire in the rear fuse box that I can tap in to for acc power 12v switch on off

To clarify. You tried to tap into the #22 pin on the factory amp wiring harness(remote turn on) to power on your aftermarket amp through a LOC unit with a 12v amp turn on feature and it interferes with your door lock control?

If so, I bypassed the LOC amp turn feature and just tapped the #22 pin lead directly to my aftermarket amp turn-on connector. Worked perfectly without any door control issues. However, I do have the 17 speaker Lexicon system so your accessory wire maybe different is you have a 14 speaker system.

My LOC with a 12v amp turn on feature, but I just bypassed it.

The wire I tapped for the 12v turn on power source off the stock amp. I just ran wire directly to the aftermarket amp connector.

If you still need to tap into the rear junction box to power your amp; you could try the factory amp fuse.
