  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Just got back from picking up a Titanium Grey / Black Interior 3.8 Genesis with the Tech package. What an awesome ride -- all the researching and waiting for many months it was so worth it! I wasn't expecting this: the dealer already had the wings on the back and the front, and on the wheels -- that was a sweet bonus.

does your 2010 V6 has the smart cruise control? and the touch screen NAV?
mind to share how much you paid?

Yes, what dataguy said. I paid $37,940. The dealer had already installed the wing emblems on the hood, trunk and wheels. I also bought the 10 year/100000 mile Hyundai Platinum Protection Plan for an additional 1200.00.

WOW, when I bought my 09 in May, the dealer said they where not coming off the MSRP much at that time. My car listed for $40,120 and I gave $38,500 plus taxes, plus $1100 for10 year 100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. After coming home and going to www.truecar.com I found out that everyone else in my area averaged paying $37,800. So I over paid a little, so what,
I LOVE MY GENESIS

You have a great attitude.

That is the estimated HAPP price (estimated employee price -- I say estimated because the official Invoice numbers for the 2010s are not on the HAPP site yet). All the dealerships in my area (VA/MD/DC) that I talked to were willing to sell to me at that price without any haggling since I am a member of the Hyundai Think Tank. It was awesome to be able to focus on the actual car I was buying, knowing that I was getting a fair price without playing any negotiation games. Thank-you Hyundai for a great buying experience! And a big thanks to all the genesisowners forum contributers for their collective knowledge -- it helped me decide on this car! Fairfax Hyundai, my first choice, didn’t have the color I wanted so I picked the car up at the Fitz Automall in MD.
