  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Congrats Sean! Fairly new here myself, but love seeing what we Genny-lovers are picking up and sharing our experiences. Wish you nothing but good luck with her. Enjoy!

There is no 2016 5.0. That has to be 2015.

I heard that not many 2016 5.0 Genesis were made for the us market. A unicorn.

The one I've seen in the neighborhood is white, quad exhaust, trunk trim says Genesis & 5.0. What makes it different from my 2015 ( besides color ) is the DRLs are the LEDs. So I lept to the conclusion it was a 2016.

In the second photo, it looks like your amber turn signal is lit as the DRL (unless you just happened to take the picture while the turn signal was on). 2015 used this bulb as the DRL, while 2016 used the LED strip.

If you want to be sure, check the 10th digit of the VIN. It'll be an "F" for 2015, or "G" for 2016.

Either way, it's a great car. Marrakesh Beige doesn't seem like a common color. What color is the interior?

It is a Black with a Grey trim around the seats, black dash but the lighter Grey roof and pillers, and has the dark wood trim..

Ill have to check the Vin and paper work, the Dealer told me it was a 2016, the build date was really late in 2015 so i assumed it was a 2016. Heck if it is a 2015 being that it had only 29k miles on it, it was not even broken in...

That's a gorgeous color. Really makes the tint pop!

Congratulations. I bought a 2015 5.0 yesterday. So far, I love it. I got mine with 70K for 21,500 and new tires. Plus, I was scared that expensive electronic bits would break, so I got a 2 year warranty.

I got a similar deal on my 2015 5.0 Ultimate. Mine had 64k Highway miles. Still even smells new. Had newish tires and a set of WeatherTech mats in it... The previous owner dealt with replacing the radio head unit.

I've had my 2015 5.0 Ultimate for exactly 2 months now. I love it even with the few issues I've had with mine. Picked it up for $24k with 47500 miles, basically new tires (even if they're Kumhos), and Weather tech liners for the front. Seems to have been cared for by someone just as anal about cleanliness as I am! Plus (I'm viewing this as a plus, let me know what you think) my ENTIRE ENGINE was replaced at 42k miles. I've got a post on here that sort of goes into the details. Welcome, and let's all do a little rain dance for reliability!

If it was replaced at 43K, just be glad you did not buy it at 41K.

While that is low miles for an engine to go, it does happen. I replaced an engine in an Olds at 70k and drove it for another 110k. I think you probably have a good deal that way with a nearly new engine.

Does it have the jog dial inside?
