  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey fellow G80 owners. I finally took the dive and got me the G80. It's still too early but first impression has been great for the CPO Genesis with 45k miles.
Okay so, I really like the Maxpider floor mats. They only have it for sedan RWD and no option for AWD. I mean is there really that much difference? Has anyone tried these mats? Would rather get these before I go weather tech.
Thanks in advance.

I think the AWD has a hump near the driver's seat. Been a while since I looked at one though.

I'm actually waiting on a set of the Maxpider Kagu mats. Kinda tired of the original mats being a neverending well of dirt that shows up even after shampooing...

Also consider Coco Mats as an alternative. They are pricey, but I've never been disappointed with a set of them. I got the black Sisal for my Genesis and they look very nice. Sisal Floor Mats. I'll try to remember to post a pic this afternoon after work.

Had the Maxpider in my Fusion and loved them.
The AWD does have a larger hump in the middle of the floorboard so the rears won't work without seriously ugly modifications.
I got the diamond 'leather' liners from ebay for the winter and they served me well.
I am back to the carpeted mats in the warm weather.

I'm glad I joined this community and appreciate the experts! I really like maxpider but spent little extra and went with weathertech.

Mine came with a set of Weather Tech from the previous owner and they work great. They're a little industrial looking though, thinking about something that looks a little more upmarket....

Yeah, I don't mind weathertech but something more luxury I suppose.

The Maxpider would be the ticket then. A lot more luxury looking and feeling, but decent debris retention. Mud/water just vacuums off.
