So I can't stand the sound "system" in the 2.0T.
I purchased a Pioneer AVH-P3300BT.
Spent a few hours installing it last night but and this is a huge but, the Metra double din faceplate is not really a double din faceplate, at least not in the case.
I am, pretty sure all double dins are exactly the same size.
After me trying to customize it to fit, it looked like hell so I had to take out the new head unit.
I am interested if anyone else has had this problem and if so how did you fix it? Also what do you do with the second "LCD" screen at the top of the dash, the one that gives the temp, channel etc for the old system? This is base audio system I am referring to. Please if you have pictures after replacement, do show them here.
