  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Found an article on Cnet talking about the upcoming Stinger refresh which may include some new hardware (ie LSD) and new drive modes/software for a more playful AWD configuration. Sounds pretty cool to me.

Sharper Stinger: Testing Kia's upcoming performance-tuned AWD

Seems like it will be more in line with the G70, in terms of AWD hardware; but, the transmission computer may be a bit more aggressive than the current G70 software. This makes me wonder if the G70 will receive a similar software change for upcoming model years?

Thoughts?

Interesting article for sure! It is nice to see Kia/Hyundai/Genesis are planning on continually improving the car. Especially the parts of the car that are already quite good. I know the G70 is still really new (especially for the US guys :p ) but I look forward to the refresh when it comes out. :)

They're simply bringing the Stinger more in line with G70 - the Genesis already had the more aggressive software.

We don't have that many settings for the AWD front/rear split though. Ultimately might be a gimmick but like I said I am glad it seems like they are trying to continuously improve.
