Hey guys I had a few questions and I wanted to see if you guys could help me out. I just got a 2012 2.0T and I keep hearing different things from people I know but none of them ACTUALLY own a Genesis.
1. Do I need to change the oil after the first 1000 miles?
2. I wanted to get an intake, what are the best brands and should I be doing anything else or can I just get the intake?

1. Do I need to change the oil after the first 1000 miles? (no, it's not required, but a lot of people believe in dumping the original fill after 1000 miles and switch to high quality synthetic oil) My take is that if you own the car it's not a bad idea, especially if you plan on keeping it for a logng time.

2. I wanted to get an intake, what are the best brands and should I be doing anything else or can I just get the intake? A cold air intake system is kind of a waste unless you have the back side opened up as well , which means modifying the exhaust.
