  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

New Cooper tire RS3-G1

That looks like a decent tire. With a UTQG of 500 they should last a bit. But the higher the UTQG the lower your traction performance will be. You trade performance for longevity with higher numbers. I see you are up in NJ, so unless you have separate wheels/tires for summer and winter an all season tire is your safest bet. Personally those would feel like riding on plastic and I would be sliding all over the place. Also, check TireRack and see if there are any reviews. That will give you some idea of what they are like.

Just put a set on my son's Mazda and happy so far. We had previously had the RS3-A and they were wonderful. Very quiet and wore perfectly. Not sure of exact mileage but at least 40k
