New Equus Owner

Hi everyone! I'm Mike and I just picked up my leftover 2014 Equus Signature last Saturday. Three days deep, I still can't believe this is my car. I should add I'm probably not the typical Equus owner...for starters I'm 30 years old. The only reason I could make this work was incredible discounts at the dealer and very strong values on my trade-ins. I've done some reading on the forums and everyone has a different perspective but overall people seem happy to have this car in their life...I look forward to the same. This car is far, far above my station in life. It's also my first new car and I feel so fortunate to get into this thing at the end of the day. It is so completely different from anything my buddies drive...and I absolutely love that. Cheers!

Congrats... Great car... And your age inspires as you are into V8s and large sedans. Carry on the tradition while you still can (Washington DC wants to force you into 3 cylinder boosted mail delivery vehicle.. Only those elite allowed to have what you have).

Would you share what you paid for it? Also, seen any Ultimates around in 2014?

Sure! The negotiated price was approx 17k off the sticker which was $61,920 I believe. Haven't seen any ultimate 14 leftovers...I'm sure there are still a few though.

^^ amazing price. Used may be a few bucks less. But what you have is new... I would love to have a Ultimate at $48-49k, which is about same percentage off you got. Again, congrats.

Welcome! I just traded in my 2013 Signature for a 2015 Signature. It has been my favorite car of all time. I do have a question for anyone that has a 2015 (maybe a 2014 as well, since there apparently are little/no differnces.)
I can't seem to get weather on XM Data screen. Traffic, sports, stocks work, just not weather. Any help?

Congratulations! Post some pictures of the new car

I recently purchased a 2012 Genesis Tech package and I am only 25. Car is completely different from anything I have driven and from my friends. Last few cars I've had were 1991 BMW and a Mini Cooper.

Next car maybe an Equus as the price on them seems amazing for everything they offer.

What are you enjoying about the car so far?

What would be a good price for 2014 Equus Signature (new)?. A dealer near me is offering 44K for a 62K MSRP. Should I take it at this point or look around for a better deal?.

an update to my previous post….Purchased a 2014 signature (new ..leftovers from last year) for 20K off the MSRP for 42K + tax + Tittle + doc fee etc.

2014 EQUUS SIGNATURE

Sticker Price: 62,170.00
Price Paid before Taxes, fees: 42,000
OTD price: 44K

Hopefully this car will treat me as well as I treat my cars ;-)

I got this one from a small hyundia dealer in Goldsboro, NC. There is another car 2014 Signature (white exterior and black interior) available from a local infiniti dealer (New car with 200 miles that has never been titled before) for 45K (There may be room to negotiate). If anyone is interested PM me and I will provide contact information of the Sales Manager. I was originally considering this but I like saddle interior instead of black.
