  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello

Just got my G70 2.0t AWD a week ago. I had a 6spd Elantra N for 3 months and old age decided to ruin things. I tried to get a DCT but none were available so the dealer bought the car back thanks to great market value. Unfortunately their inventory was low on anything I'd consider so I drove off in my work truck. I headed to a Mazda dealer and noticed a Hyundai dealer next door. I figured I'd see what they had in stock and a beautiful G70 greeted me on the showroom floor. The car was not on my radar as it was out of my budget but they insisted I drive one.
So I did and thought it was a nice ride even though it was the complete opposite of an elantra N. The usual sales pitch led to some insanely high payments so I kindly said thanks but no thanks. I guess the stars were in alignment as it was the last day of the month, good credit and they were about to close. As I was about to leave they made me an offer I couldn't refuse.
I already wrapped the door handles, added a rear spoiler and windows get tinted next week. 20230608_220546.webp20230608_220627.webp20230608_220732.webp20230409_171519.webp

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. I'm glad you found us! And that is a Fantastic story! I'm really happy for you. I do like the Hyundai Elantra N and I'm sure it was really fun to drive - especially being a manual. But the Genesis G70 is a very impressive luxury sport sedan. Congratulations! If you're into modding, check out the forum store. There's all sorts of interesting ways to customize your G70...
