New Genesis Owner Here!

Hello fellow Genesis owners/enthusiasts,

After an arduous month long search I was able to acquire my Genesis. It is a 2016 Black ext/Gray int with 14,400 miles. I have only had it for three days but so far it is everything I had hoped for and more. Any advice on things to watch out for and how to keep this driving machine in peak form is greatly appreciated.

Congratulations John. Looks really nice. No rear shot, but if it still has the Hyundai "H" on the trunk, that's an easy fix.

Wish I could get my lawn that green.

Here's a link. Instructions ( with good pics ) how to do it. I used a hair dryer for the heat & it worked fine. The thought of a heat gun pointed at my paint gave me the willies.

You can get OEM wings from the guy that owns this site. Look at upper right of every page. Whole process took me about an hour. Below are my before & afters.

I agree with your statement that the vehicle looks better with the Genesis Wings emblem on the Trunk. Went to the local dealership and had it done in one hour.
