Just bought a new Genesis '09 3.8V6...Cabernet w/black leather interior...all leather steering wheel (love it)...sunroof..nice....a few minor issues to deal with the svc. department of the dealership on, but overall, after the first week, very pleased. Especially pleased w/the .9% APR for a 48 month finance term! Has Lexicon 14spkr surround sound w/6 disc changer--great sound overall.

Has 18" silver alloy wheels...a great look for a great car!

Traded in a '07 Azera..it was nice, too.

Hyundai has definitely come a long way!

Nice interest rate, too, BTW. Was that through HMC? While I was able to get 0.9% for my wife's Sante Fe last winter, I couldn't get anything like that for my Genesis. I was told by my dealer that low APRs track to the model, and nothing that low as available for Genesis. Hmmm...

HMFC offers are state dependent. I live in Texas and can get the .9%, but cannot get the lease offer.

When I bought my 2009 Genesis last month in PA, the best I could do was 4.49% with an 800 credit score! I wish the .9% was available here.

Have a 06 Azera. Where did you get the .9% rate?

This is not a Hyundai finance deal is it?

I'll buy tommorrow at that rate.

Yes, I'm enjoying the car...the ride, the look, the finance rate (w/800+ credit score), and it was available via HMFC on their site. It's a state dependent rate, as someone mentioned above. Interestingly, the dealer didn't seem too excited about offering it to me! I had to tell them up front the only way this deal was going to happen was with that deal and a good trade value. Like most, they didn't offer a good trade, but when I started to leave, they changed their mind. The people at the dealership were very nice, including the salesman. I was happy with the deal I got both in trade and in purchase price. It's a beautiful car, and very comfortable to drive (I'm 6'2" tall, about 230 lbs). I'm having difficulty w/the starting system (a buzzing sound, addressed on other threads) that I'm sure the dealer will fix/repair, etc. The car runs great, looks great, very comfortable...can't offer enough accolades after having it for one week!

I'm enjoying every minute of it! Got to get the windows tinted though....I'll use 35% as I have with the last 3 or 4 cars I've had. Brings the glare down dramatically, makes the A/C more efficient (improving the fuel economy), and generally improves the look of the car...charcoal interior, cabernet color....nice.

Pictures will be forthcoming after the windows are tinted. That will happen after the car gets back from the dealer...starting issues being addressed on Wednesday. I'll get it done either later this week, or next...depends on availability. They (the company that does my tint) doesn't offer service loaners...just a lifetime warranty on their work.....darn!

Cabernet Red Pearl is DEFINITELY the color!

Note the interior is actually black...the sun is EXTREME today!

The tint is 35% Axcess (Llumar product).

This car has caught TWICE the attention since tinting the windows...and it wasn't bad beforehand! Ain't she a beaut'???

I live in Georgia but had to go to Alabama to get 1.9%. Apparently, the Alabama region which includes most southern states has special financing rates, while the Georgia region has special lease rates. I gave two dealerships in Georgia the opportunity to match financing offer but they couldn't. Do a search on this site for "financing rates" and you should see which states have the special financing.

Yeah, to repeat myself again..."lovin' every minute of it"! This car is just a gem to drive! I'll be glad to repeat myself thousands of times!!!! The ride, the comfort, the handling....and now the advertising! Watching Dallas vs. Cleveland....I've seen numerous (five, I think) Genesis ads in the first quarter!

The Genesis commercials were on 4 times I think in the Canes-Gators game Saturday... they are starting to spend that $80 million ad budget!
