Hello everyone. My name is Ron and I just purchased a 2015 Genesis 3.8 RWD last week and I just now joined the forum. I have been trying to figure out everything new with this vehicle. The dealer reps have been very helpful and the manuals have also answered a number of questions. However, there seems to be one question that no one seem to have an answer to. So here goes to all the Genesis experts out there:
ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE TRUNK LID, THERE IS A MOLDED DEPRESSION RUNNING SIDE TO SIDE WITH SOME TYPE OF A MOLDED PLASTIC CLAMPING FIXTURE IN THE CENTER. WHAT IS IT USED FOR. SINCE IT LOOKS LIKE IT HOLDS SOMETHING AND THAT SOMETHING IS MISSING, I CALLED THE DEALER AND TO A MAN, NO ONE KNOWS WHAT IT IS.
Any help out there would be appreciated. Did the dealer leave something off of my new car or is this just a fixture that the factory used in the past but no longer uses for anything.
I look forward to any reply.
