Wow!! Those new photos of the V8 and the 360 rotation feature really highlight that this car is very attractive, and not "acceptable" or "understated." I'm hoping these photos are an indication the V8 is near release.

Very Nice, BUT, they seemed to have wiped out all references to the Hyundai Genesis Tour. Anyone know where that went. There are just a few events left, I can remember Atlanta is in September sometime. Those remaining few events will be the LAST CHANCE to get the $500 coupons!

Under "Gallery" pictures, I noticed an interior shot with the black leather, and the dash leather was also black. I thought black interiors had the saddle leather on the dash. Is the V8 different?

Yes, the black leather accent on the dash is a V8. That's one of the features. Also note in that pic the wood on the wheel. Several pics down in that list is an interior shot of the V6 showing the saddle color accent.

Actually, the V8s that I drove at the Hyundai Drive had the brown leather dash with black leather interior. Admittedly, these were the V8 "prototypes" with the ugly wheels so no telling if that's how the V8s will be produced. I've asked for clarification on the same issue (whether or not choosing the black leather dash with black leather interior would be an option), and no dealer seems to have an answer.

Hmmm, ugly wheels? I like those wheels. Different spokes for different folks.

This is the main reason I have not put a formal order in. I know that I am going with the V8 tech in black but remain undecided over the black or saddle interior. I still have been unable to see the black/saddle combo live and in person. I love the pictures but since I tend to keep cars for a long time I want to make the right decision.

The dashboard leather accent color issue is a big deal to me. The local dealers are clueless. If the black interior is "all black" that is a turn off. If the Saddle is "all Saddle" that is a turn off. I really like the contrast. My spirts are starting to dampen as I figure at this rate I will not see a black/saddle V8 tech in NJ until 2009. The poor quality dealers in NJ have said that if you order it and do not like how the interior colors turn out it is your tough luck and it is still your car. Also they can give no delivery date. I will not do business with a dealer like that.

I'm in the same boat as you. I am also considering the V8 tech in black but am uncertain of the interior color. Hyundai could have made this choice real easy for me if they had just offered a gray interior. I am not in love with the saddle interior or the black interior......also located in NJ.
