  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Greetings all, proud new owner of a 16 Ultimate AWD as of yesterday. 21,800 miles. Came from a 15 fusion titanium that I loved but needed a bit more space.
I did a lot of research and scoured this forum and the FB groups before purchasing, just so I knew what to expect. Most of you are pretty informative!
Had a great experience buying used from an out of state dealer. They honored every detail we discussed ahead of time, no surprises or curve balls (which was most certainly appreciated) and got what I feel to be a great deal! 26,200 after fees/taxes/title.
I'm looking at warranty options now, and maybe an alternate set of wheels.
Looking forward to a few+ years with this one!

Sounds like a decent deal. You're going to like your new ride too! Have fun learning all the goodies.

Yes, welcome. Pics are always appreciated.

Welcome and have fun. Negotiate your warranty upgrade if you decide to get one. Don't forget to ask for the employee discounted warranty.

Well, I am reading the thread that says I can't get the full HPP Platinum as a 2nd owner... first I had seen that. Additionally, I'm yet to find a dealer that actually sells the Hyundai genuine warranty. Everyone is pushing their 3rd party coverage.
I had EasyCare on my last car and just called them - they want $2830 after "black Friday $500 discount" for their top of the line coverage, for 6 years from contract date and 120,000 on the odometer.
The same coverage on my 2015 Fusion Titanium was $1745 in 07/2015. Going to keep exploring options...

You can only get the HPP options on a used Genesis if it is bought as CPO. So if you're not CPO, you'll have to go aftermarket if you want a warranty.

Scroll about 2/3rds down to "CPO Wrap" to see the HPP Gold and Platinum options for CPO.

that clears it up, not CPO. Thanks for dashing my hopes before I spent more time making calls!
