New Member 2013 3.8

Hello All,

Just picked up a 2013 certified 3.8; which conveniently was hit while it was parked the other day at the Promenade in Bolingbrook, IL. Yay for me

I am not new to the forum stuff so I have been lurking around, searching, reading... blah blah blah. So besides saying hey to everyone, I have a question that I have not been able to answer on my own, thru Google or the search engine here;

I am in the west/southern suburbs of Chicago. I was in Burr Ridge on Saturday and saw a blacked out Genensis RSpec. I noticed the license plate area of the vehicle having a mesh grill surrounding the plate. This was raised so it was not like a vinyl application or someone hot gluing mesh to the car. Is anyone familiar with this? I wish I had time to snap a picture but I didn't. Thanks in advance and I am looking forward to the forum and what it has to offer. Cheers!

Hey. I just got this. Guess I have to check my subscription email settings.

It's silver with black interior. Standard model. Only mods so far are tinted windows. I'm looking into exhaust option like a few other 3.8 sedan owners. I don't expect the 8cyl sound but would like a little more tone under acceleration.
I like the look of that small rear wing so looking into that as well. Other than those little dodads and a remote start before winter hits, that's it.

Ya, I forgot to mention those. I just missed out on a set that a forum member was selling. Looking into eBay and such for a rear and steering wheel badge; I do not want one on the front.
