  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi. This my first post here. I'm a potential Genesis Coupe owner and doing some research on these forums. I currently own a 350z and considering changing it for a Genesis Coupe or g35. My wife and I are expecting a child later this year and although we have a primary "family car" suv, I might need to escort the little one in my car so I'm preparing for the change.

Its probably the oddest question asked but - Has anyone tried fitting a baby seat in the Genesis Coupe yet?

a Babyseat with the baby facing back will use quite a lot of space, if your wife is small enough to scoot the seat far forward it might work. If you and the little one are by yourself it should be possible. But, the rear seat bottoms are raised in the front a bit, you might want to try a seat in a coupe just to see if it works.
One the kid sits in a regular childseat it gets easier. I have my kids in the back without problems.
good luck with the baby!

I had my son in a regular baby seat, and as mentioned above, if your wife is short you can get away with it, other wise front passenger might be a little uncomfortable, once you get to the toddler seat your home free. good luck
