  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I love the windshield tinted...for me 50-60 is best to achieve what I want. 35 is a bit much, but as long as you like it. Looks great with the black car!

Here in Canada, you would get pulled over right away and fined and told to remove it or replace the windshield. The police can even stop you and fine you if they think the front side windows are tinted too much. It is left up to the cop on the street

God help him, driving home at night with half a load on.

I got a $50 ticket here in Florida for have Limo tint on the front (2) side windows. Had to remove it and replace it with legal tint. Can't imagine having it on the windshield though.

We just need a prescription here, every tint shop has several optometrists they recommend who are pro-tint. Then we get to call the DMV and have them put a note in the system for our vehicles that instruct police "Do not harass driver for window tint, driver has prescription on hand."

Nice ride, and 2nd the NO to K&N. Air filters impregnated with oil is no bueno!

The thing about living done here in Miami, all the cops here have 5% tints and some on the windshield. So it doesn't call much attention. Plus whenever I see a cop, I pull the window done and that's it lol

You have a retractable windshield? Don't you get bugs in your teeth?

Lol , when you bring down the four windows, the front doesn't look dark anymore. I've always had this setup with all my cars.

Never fails. Got stopped once in a parking lot, left with a warning, the detective had the same tints.

If I get pulled over today I'll blame you guys for jinxs

Great looking ride. Dam the Genesis looks great in black!

It certainly does. There was a beautiful black R-spec on the showroom floor when I went shopping. Unfortunately, I live in the desert which means lots of dust and it is impossible to keep black cars clean without a ton of work (or being hooked up at your local car wash) so I opted for silver. Still a great looking car!

I used to have a black Blazer. I wore out a California duster in 3years. I was looking at a red Genesis first but it was sold, so I opted for the blue. It is almost as difficult to keep clean, but does look great when it is.

I would say black is hard to keep clean anywhere, no matter what lol

Genesis is my 2nd sedan in Black color.
I agree it is a major PITA to keep up and besides
I would never buy a black color car without a garage or having access to another car when weather is not favorable.

I have a Black F250 V10 and it is impossible to keep clean. My problem is I like the way black cars look. I am hoping when they show up on the lots another color will call out to me instead of black :)

Lol, talking about this...

Let my car out on street last night. Forgot to bring her in as I had a plan late night but was cancelled. Woke up this morning for word. Completely full of dust, had to was at work again

Just installed my LEDs daytime running lights, look ten times better.

Post pics later tonight when I can get a good picture.
