I'm so proud to see Hyundai has finally built car like genesis.....
I bought a sonata back in early 90's and it was a junk, since then I stayed way from Hyundai products, but with genesis I can finally buy thier cars...

I haven't test drive the genesis yet, but I'll sometime next week. I wanted to wait for genesis back in june, but I've heard that it wouldn't be here until september. So I went ahead and bought Acura TL s-type with discount of $7,500.00 off msrp, I couldn't resist...

Congrats on your TL-S! Very good cars and a heck of a bargain if you paid around $30k. Did you get the 6-speed manual or the automatic transmission?

Well, it's a pearl white w/automatic transmission and paid $32K (msrp was $39.5K). If I knew Genesis would be here in july rather than september, I know I would've waited for Genesis. Those damm hyundai sales people!!!!
Now, I'm trying to get my wife to buy Genesis so I can get to drive it once in a while....

I've been following Hyundai Genesis for year or so and really wanted to buy one. I drove one back in Korea while back when I visited there. I really liked the genesis, fit and finish was real good but did not liked the ride. It was too soft for my taste but I'm glad they changed the suspension setting for US market. Then in June I had to buy the car and went to the Hyundai dealers and were told it won't be available until sep. or oct. That's why I ended up with TL-S. Not that I don't like my TL but It' Genesis that I want in first place. They, Hyundai dealers got me this time. I just don't understand why they didn't know when it was coming. Well I just have wait for a while before I get to buy new Genesis......I'm trying very hard to convince my wife to get one.

Another Genesis sale lost (and potential customer if Acura turns out to be great!) because of uninformed sales people.. Oh well.. We all saw this coming..

At least you're still looking to get one for your wife! I'm doing the exact same thing! Trying to convince my wife that the Genesis is everything she needs.. It would replace her 2007 Chrysler 300C. Maybe some time in 2009...
