  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I live in St. Louis and am ready to purchase. Need help with the decision. Choices are
2010 V8 10k miles, perfect condition - $28,500
2011 V8 new, $37,000
2012 V6 new, $34,500 (circle pricing)
2012 V6 new, $39,500 (circle pricing)

Questions:
1. Is there that big of a ride/supension difference between 2010 vs 2012 V8?
2. Would you suggest purchasing an extended warranty to cover potential navigation/head unit issues?
3. Based on above pricing/value, which would you choose?

Thanks in advance!

I'd go with the 10 for 28.5K

If it helps, I just paid (October) $35,400 from my 2011 v8. I believe that they really wanted it off the showroom floor to make room for the 2012's. this included ZAG pricing, $1500 competitors rebate as well as another $1,000 for financing. I don't know what promotions are currently available though.

i would get the 2011 V8 if you can haggle down to $35k, which is what i paid.
if not, then the 2010 V8 is my second choice.

dlevitt, NextCar - where do you both live? I have been trying for 6 months to haggle dealers in St. Louis down to $36,500 and have not had any luck.

I'm in new Jersey. I had originally wanted a 2012 base v6. I went to zag.com and got unbelievable pricing online and was referred to a local dealer. Unfortunately they had no v6's in stock. They asked if I'd consider. Leftover V-8 if the price was right. Apparently they wanted it gone because they came back with a great number. It may have helped that they understood that I'm a salesman and preferred no games. I also know how the far business works.'

in southern california.
my price was $36k - 1k for financing thru hyundai = 35k.
0% APR for 3 years.
i would think that the dealer would be very eager to sell a 2011 leftover.
