  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I am proud to say I am the new owner of a 2011 Genesis 4.6 V8. I fell in love with the ride and let the first one get away. When I got the chance to test drive another one I never let it out of my sight! Was told it was a former lease with only 15K miles.

Was sold as a CPO but I did have to take it back within a few days for unbalanced tires and alignment. The vibration was much improved and tracks straight now. I know there are issues with tires so I am prepared for that within the next 5K miles If I have to replace them. No doubt going with Michelin all the way.

I look forward to reading up on the discussions here in the forum!

Take a look at the Bridgestone Turanza Serenity Plus and Conti's also. Congrats on your purchase.

Welcome to the Forum and congrats on your new Genesis. I hope to be a proud owner here in the next month or so when the 2015 hits the lots.

Nice. That is low mileage for a 2011. I love my 2011 4.6. From all the posts I've read, seems to be a very good year for the Genesis.

My 2011 4.6 has 120k miles on it. It's a wonderful car. So I think you will have a lot of happy miles in front of you. Welcome to the forum.

another happy 2011 4.6 owner ... welcome. tire vote here for conti pro contact eco-plus. make sure you confirm that all TSBs have been applied. your dealer should be able to pull the info from the hyundai svc web site.

Welcome.....a new Genesis owner myself, 2011 3.8, purchased a month ago with 36K on it. Absolutely love it so far. After much research, I just ordered the Conti Pure Contact. Rates very high according to tirerack and CR. I've always had Michelins.

When looking at Tire Rack ratings, be sure to check out the number of user miles the ratings are based on, so that the results are not skewed by a small sample size (especially since tire company employees may be biased in their ratings).

So, this might not be the best place for this post, but the dealer agreed to update the NAV and I just got it back today. Before the map was 2010 something....I didnt write down the exact version. Today the map version is 3.00.00 2012.9.1.01. Seems to me that the version 3 maybe and from 2012??

Am I correct? and if so, is this the latest map for 2011 non touch screen?

I have seen comments about V7 on some threads.
