New owner 2014 Equus Ultimate

Hello!

I just brought home a new Equus. White with the light interior in ultimate trim. New car with 200 miles. What a sweet ride! I was interested in an Genesis 5.0 and they stepped me into the Equus with wheeling and dealing.

It raining cats and dogs in Houston the last few days - Ill clean it up and post pics in a week or so.

hope you avoided the flood waters. I didn't flood anywhere near my house, but i hear there were issues elsewhere.

Congrats on your purchase of the Ultimate. I am sure you will enjoy it. I have a 2011 Ultimate and really enjoy mine. It attracts quite a bit of attention, especially since I have the Equus wing hood ornament. The technology is very nice. My mother-in-law enjoyed her 3 hour trip in it after we popped in a movie, fired up the massager and handed her a cold bottle of water out of the ice box. She was very impressed.

No better way to introduce a Benz owner to the finer side of Hyundai.

Been lurking for a while, trying to educate myself and make informed decision.

Where in Htown did you buy? I have been looking at Hub (live in NW Houston) and they have a 2014 Equus signature model I am considering.

I bought it at hub on 290. They were ok - same as most dealerships. I would call/visit/text all around town towards the end of the month and see who wants to deal.

I think the one on the east side of Houston is the high volume one besides hub.

Hammer them on price, then tell the to remove all the dealer options, tell the finance guy to jump off a cliff and drive out.

Good luck - Car buying is only worse than calling Comcast for help.

Funny to hear, I had same experience there.

Sales guy that is Equus 'certified' - Bob was great. Very knowledgeable on the vehicle and answered all my questions and found answers to ones he didn't know.

The finance guy was definitely the 'bad' cop...but that is the game.

Ended up getting 2014 signature. Very please so far.

That poor dealership is probably suffering from that hellish 290 construction.
