Hi everyone. As a new owner, I check the manuals as I become familiar with the various capabilities of the car, but I can find nothing about the REC icon in the radio presets. Thanks, Joe

On;y thing I know, you can back up those stations if you miss something. You cannot record a particular song.

Yes, that's ALL it does, gives you the ability to pause or back up a live station; seems pretty stupid to me to label it that way. Love the car but some things make no sense.

Welcome to the Genesis club! I have had my 2015 Ultimate for a couple of months now and have really enjoyed it so far. Question for you, in your center glove box, is it just and empty space or is there a tray included that helps keep some items separated inside the glove box? Mine is just one big empty space but it looks like it is made to have a tray of some sort in there too.

I just found out the other day you can connect the car to a wireless network although not sure what benefit that provides? Why would you do that?

There were going to be some apps that utilized that but they never panned out. Maybe something in the future

No tray in either of mine. Get a Tupperware type container for little stuff.

Small tray that snaps over two small projections on the top lip at the back

2 things:
1) You can pause/playback ANY Sirius station, doesn't seem to have anything to do with the REC icon
2) Hyundai's response to my question about the REC icon:
"Your request is very important to us and based on the nature of your REC icon on your radio request. You will need to contact SiriusXM directly. At your convenience, you can reach SiriusXM Radio Listener Care by calling 1-888-601-6296. "

Mine didn't come with a small tray either and I never found where it could be purchased.

For me, I have found a better solution in putting a small tissue box and a fabric bin to easily remove and keep things in order. Fits perfectly.

I also purchased this genesis tray that I ended up not using since it didn't fit with the tissue box but it was pretty nice as well.

Factory tray, note the two slots in the second pic fit over pins in the console surround

In stays in position when the two "slots" in the underside of the tray snap over two pins in the surround; enlarge the pic and look at the lower edge.

Hey what about the TAG tab on the radio... mine is always greyed out. Anyone found a use for it?
