  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

After a lot of looking and consideration, pulled the trigger to get the color combo and trim I wanted. 2025 (because I detest the 27" iPad coming in the US 2026) Storr Green/Vanilla Beige 3.5T SP. Hard to find, not many of this combo running around, mostly black interiors. Expedited the delivery from Korea via Tacoma, then train, CO, then to the dealer.

I was able to get regular updates via the dealer VIN tracking system direct. Great option if your dealer offers it. On delivery had wheel locks, and 1st aid kit (yawn). Ordered a cargo cover off Amazon (at 70% over OEM discount). BUT got the awesome factory winter floor mats (They are worth it) and the hitch pkg (for bikes off the back) from the dealer as I didn't want anyone jacking up the electrical on the hitch kit. Super clean install and looks great. Wished I could have the Aussie detachable "invisible" mount but too much hassle trying to get (no DOT cert/black or gray market/wtf) it to the US.

Then off to my PPF/Tint guys for XPEL full frontal wrap (Full hood, Full bumper/Splitter, Full fenders, Headlights, Mirrors, Door cups, Edges, and Xpel 10-year warranty) Pax/Dvr 20% tint (XPEL makes 20% or 30% and CO is legal to 27...so 20, lol). Also had full chrome delete wrapped to match in gloss black XPEL on both sides and KDM blackout lettering replaced from the factory chrome on the back. The 25 hood ornaments require bumper removal to replace the hood ornament with a TBD black replacement (AYFKM?), so that is still up in the air as black is preferred and no one has anything...yet.

Next up are new seasonal 19" snow shoes with either Michelin X-Ice, Nokian Hakkapeliittas, or maybe back to my standby, the Blizzaks. Getting decent quotes under 2K out the door for all of those. Interior-wise, have a blendmount for my Uniden R8 and a Dongar USB mirror connect to a USB to RJ11 connector. I put my Garmin Mini 2 dashcam (love it because it is tiny) hidden cabled to the backseat USB slot. On order is a reversible OEM back cargo mat because again, it is better than anything 3rd party I am seeing. And that should be it until I break it in. After 5K mileage it gets a JDM tune and (fingers crossed) a muffler package like the guys in Toronto are doing for some burble and pop. Your forum and posters have helped me a great deal on what they liked and preferred so THANK YOU. It was down to this and an X3M Comp but..., have you seen the new one? FUGLY. I only buy new, not interested in used. First Genesis. Happy so far and fingers crossed.

Look forward to more info and experience as the community develops, hope I can contribute as received. Thanks!

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on your brand new Genesis GV70! I'm glad we were able to help you make a decision. What is the GV70 replacing for you? Yes, BMW is going through a bad design phase. I think Genesis is really happy about that. :p
