  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Thank for this forum. I love the car and the performance. Got a rude introduction to the cruise control assist!

Indeed. I have had 3 cars with adaptive CC and this is the first I haven't been able to turn off and just have normal cruise. Its nice sometimes like on a road trip. Often though its way too oversensitive on the braking and the people behind you think you are nuts ! Also in PHX/Scottsdale you leave that much distance in between cars (even on the closest setting) you loose your spot, creating an even harsher braking experience when someone swoops in front of you. Its still a nice feature, on my year model it cant be turned off however.

Great car - I drive a lot so it is nice to have a fun car. As much as a car this size can be at least! No issues at all

Sorry, wrong car. I missed that it was a Gen1

I know the car has ESC but why does it brake so much? The brake pads can not last long with the car constantly slowing.

Ceramic pads ... last a long time. I haven't changed them yet at 60k (and didn't on my '09 either which I had to 60k).

And another benefit: No dust!

Many people get over 100,000 miles on the pads and rotors........
