  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Beautiful. If you didn't say different I'd swear the interior was black. I don't see a hint of blue in those shots.

It’s deceiving in pictures, really depends on the lighting. If you look at the leather next to the seat belt pillar, you could see it better.

Looks great, what tint percent matched the back?
I'm not certain what % they installed. I just asked them to tint to match. I use the manual shades in the back to make them look darker.

This is the pine grove interior. Hope the color comes out ok. In certain lighting it’ll look like a dark gray color
Thanks for posting!

I feel like it really does come down to the lighting sources and the camera that dictates how well the color shows up in photos. I've seen the same thing for the Ultramarine blue. In some photos it looks completely black and others, the blue is extremely bold and clear. I kinda think that's a good thing as such colors like green and blue are quite bold, unique, and lower wavelength in terms of light.

When we're talking stylish car interiors, you have to somewhat use a more austere hue for blues and greens as to not overwhelm the cabin. It can really confuse the senses if it's too much.

Yeah in still photos, without proper lighting, you'll never really get to see the deep navy blue color. Most times you'll be able to see the blue better in video, likely do to how the lighting will automatically start to adjust with the camera while in motion. Unless you have a really good camera (or you're using the flash), single still photos are probably always gonna "miss the blue"-ish tones.

These two videos have some of the best looks of the blue interior that I've seen of the car:

I think I might have a rare combo, blue with red 😉

The Adriatic blue is a beautiful midnight blue, almost black color that just shimmers at the right angle and makes the rear fender flare look even more prominent to my eye. It was completely worth the 4 month wait (and $250 under MSRP)

What, what? Sweet deal! That’s impressive actually to snag a new GV70 under MSRP.

Love the color combo. welcome to the forum.
