I've never accessed the engineering menu; can you by chance set things like auto-hold to come on upon startup? Here's what I do every time I start my car:

1. Turn on auto-hold
2. Turn on Cruise control

...would be nice, from a "first world problems" point-of-view, to have those turn on by default.

Yea, but if you have the most recent updates in the NA market then you will have a password.

Just change the date to one these years or try this password “2014” if the date is not set at all.

Sorry, can someone tell me if this works on a 2022 G70? Maybe a screen shot of where to tap?
I tried tapping at the bottom of the scroll bar 10 times and then the far right lower corner and got nothing.
I want to see what is in there!

Hey, how about 2023? I'd like to see what's there too. Oh, and how can you SAFELY get out of there, without inadvertently changing anything? Hopefully somebody knows how to mess with a 2023. Thx.

2 reasons come to mind.

1) Some cars have the software code in their computers for settings only some trim levels get. It would be cool to enable the Dynamic Edition settings (where steering mode can be set separately from the suspension) in my Design Edition.

2) Because it’s there! My car, I should have full control.

Anyone have the password for a 2019 G70, with the latest nav/software update? None of the codes listed work for me.

Not sure if anyone is still following this but I made a how-to with screenshots that should help some folks out. Pulled the info from the other lovely posts in this thread. Since I didn’t see any exact screenshots hope this helps. Although I didn’t find the DEV menu options to be very customizable.

In the general settings… go to Date/Time…
UN-check the GPS setting and set the year to 2022
****P.S. You have to be in PARK for this to be changed****

Then click the “SW Info/Update” tab on the left…
Alright the ever-elusive screen clicking time is upon you… you MUST do this quickly. Guesstimating here.. under 7 seconds. Just for a frame of reference…

Having already Set your time/date to 2022… use the code “2702”…. Then click verify

Then you’ll have this little “we aren’t responsible… you’re liable..” etc CYA screen pop up. Then boom. You’re in.



Believe it was mentioned here or on a similar thread… several screens in the DEV menu are majority Korean text… so the Google translate was an excellent idea.. download it and use the camera option to translate. Seemed to work well for me.

Big thanks to everyone for helping me get to the point I could make this. Hopefully someone will figure out what we can actually modify in here! Good luck and post any finds you get for us!
