  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

New pics front wings on and all polished up

took a look at it. pics not helping me decide i will need to see one in person. so far i'm NOT thinking it fits in with the cars sleek look. almost looks like an afterthought (which it is) just not oem looking enough for me i guess? hope i get a look at one in person so i can get a better perspective.

Trust me, it looks appropriate in person. Rear end of car looked too bland, and I believe this little spoiler does the trick.

think it's one of those personal preference things. i think, for me, spoilers belong on pure sports cars or versions of grand touring cars in addition to valances, cladding, something more than clean sheet metal (or in our case plastic/sheet metal) like our cars have. the R spec i like having the spoiler, but it also has other accents that make the spoiler appropriate (imo).

i may be an odd ball when it comes to this but i don't even like the look of the rear on the '12 Genesis. i can't stand the integrated exhaust, smoothed over rear end treatment. i like the front bumper and headlights (the eyebrow led's at least) better than ours but the back is not for me.

the '12 is just too much like the older LS430 and i personally prefered the look/lines of the original LS400 as opposed to the 430/460. i think our cars look alot like the original LS400.. it's bland, but it flows so smooth, crazy how this car photgraphs horribly but looks amazing in person.. some anomoly i don't think i've ever experienced in my 30+ years of appreciation of the automobiles... come to think of it the LS400 was like that. pics not so great. in person beautiful.

like i said before, just not my thing. my friend saw the front wing emblems on the car and flipped out on me saying i couldn't have paid him enough to put them on lol.. oh well, i love it.

Its why I keep the car garaged as much as possible.

Birds are evil incarnate.

Also, my neighbors usually beg me not to wash/wax my car on weekends because they know after I do it always rains.
