  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

The 2.0 has been discontinued for 2015. But there are plenty out there, and very popular with modders. I'll PM you more info.

It sounds like you're looking to buy new - and considering the 2.0T isn't around anymore - this may not be relevant... However, in the event you decide on a used 2.0T Genesis Coupe, here's some information for you...

Haltech Plug and Play ECU:

CMD tune and other products:

Generally speaking, 300-350 wheel horsepower is considered safe with stock internals. Some people have gone as high as 475hp while others have had problems with 300. It really depends on how the car is driven...

It's true, there's not a WHOLE hell of a lot going on here with Coupe owners but I really hope to change that... Click the link below to find some discussions regarding aftermarket performance for the Genesis Coupe:

I consider myself a fairly intelligent individual and there's only one likely reason why you couldn't "share" this information with the rest of us. I realize it's very slow here for Coupe owners but I would, more than anything, love to see more Coupe action here. Sending our visitors away is what keeps this site from growing for Coupe owners...

I didn't want to denigrate this forum, and I didn't try to send anyone away. I have found some good info here. But I find that another site provides much more info of use to Coupe owners, whereas here I have been sometimes made to feel unwelcome by sedan folks. I even tried to PM the OP, but it was barred as spam.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Did you receive an error message about your PM? You should have no issues sending... I'm very disappointed to learn that you are/were made to feel unwelcome here by Sedan owners. This is a Genesis owners community. It's not called "Genesis Sedan Owners". "Genesis" is going to be a brand at one point or another. ALL Genesis owners are welcome.

If I had known there was any ill will or ill feelings toward coupe owners here - I'd have stepped in a stopped that right away. I cannot imagine, nor do I want to, how many countless Coupe owners we've lost because of behavior like that/this...
