New R-Spec coming today

Well, the best I was able to negotiate is $210 for standard colors, red, black or silver. He is also willing to discount other parts if ordering additional items. If this sounds o.k. with you guys, i can give you the e-mail address and phone number for the rep, or I can pas on your information to him.

So assuming he's including free shipping, his offer of $210 saves us $19.95 (based on the best price I found (eBay item priced at 229.95 shipped) or about an 8.6% discount.

I'm thinking we 8 (or more) hold out for a price of $200 shipped. If you give him a list of eight committed buyers at the $200 point, I'll bet he'll bite.

What info might he need? Name, addresss, email, and phone? I can PM you with that if you think that's a good plan. No urgency on any of this AFAIC.

HE put me on hold for quite some time and came back at $210 shipped. I immediately countered at $200, but he said he spoke with management and that is the best he could do. I am also checking with another supplier but have had no response yet. He did offer additional discounts on other accessories-i want seat covers too. I also called KIA-they have one set in stock (black). They said they would not be ordering any more and would not discount the last set they have. I suppose I could give it another shot.

So let me try to understand. The guy wants $10 more for a set than you offered and you now look else where? Geeez, you are wasting more time an effort than $10 will ever be worth. I am pretty darn sure anybody who owns a Genesis won't mind forking out an additional $10.
