  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey guys! FINALLY got myself a 2013 R-Spec Genesis Sedan :)

I've been with Hyundai since 2010 when the first Sonatas came out. I got myself a 2011 Sonata SE (summer 2010) 57k off the line.. Let's say there was a lot of issues with that one. Had to ditch it.

Got into a white 2012 Sonata SE loaded, loved it, then traded that one in for a 2013 Sonata Turbo loaded. I love the way the Sonatas drove and I could never afford the Genesis, I've driven many and could never make a deal on one :(

So needless to say, I finally pulled the trigger and got a 13 R-Spec and damn, sometimes it's good waiting and expect the unexpected. I'm glad I didn't purchase any other year Genesis because reading what some of you are writing about navigation issues, radio issues etc has just blown my mind. I'm lucky enough my Genesis came with the new software the nav is running from, tha includes a few changes in the center console area, different buttons for nav use, tray under the radio instead of the Smartkey holder. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I can drive this car all day and night and not even be tired of it. However my wallet would say otherwise smh lol. I know the tank can go quick so I'm babying her, keeping shifts under 2k, but of course.. Car doesn't come with 429hp for no reason ;) anyway, glad I'm on here!

I came from a 2012 sonata Turbo also. Not looking back!! The gas mileage was an acceptable trade off for the sheer comfort, looks and features. Not to mention the V8 pulls like a freight train (not that the sonata turbo was slow).

Congrats on your new toy! Too bad you didn't get it in the Titanium Gray. The Tit gray is a fraction of a sec quicker than the silver, but I hear the silver is a fraction of a sec quicker than black:p

Anyhow, enjoy your ride

I approved this post :D

Hey hey hey. The only reason they are faster than the black is because the black is too busy looking in the reflection of every window it passes admiring just how damned sexy it looks.

Congratulations on your new ride, you are going to love it :D

What about that lonely Perl Satin White? I mean if that color left an excitable Lexus ISF in its rear view mirror, shouldn't at least get an honorary mention?

Sorry. U r absolutely correct. Keep forgetting about the very attractive satin white.
My apologies
