New side mirror not properly controlled by memory setting

Hello Fellow Genesis Owners,

I have a 2011 Genesis 4.6, and I just had the passenger side mirror assembly replaced. After I received the car back from the mechanic, I noticed that the memory positions 1 and 2 do not seem to store or properly control the new mirror. Here is what happens:

• While in park, I press '1'. The seat and driver side mirror move into proper position, but the passenger mirror seems to move/angles to a default position, down and to the left.
• I re-adjust the passenger mirror, and then save the position by pressing 'set' and then '1'.
• I then press '1' again, and the passenger mirror angles down and to the left.

I have repeated this for memory position '2' but the same thing happens.

Apart from this, the mirror and side turn light seems to function just fine. Any ideas what's going on?

Probably wasn't installed correctly. Was an official "Hyundai" part used?
Was it installed by a Genesis dealer??

if the new mirror is from base model, it has no readouts for position memory or dimming feature.
