New Steering wheel emblem?

What do you guys think about this steering wheel emblem? Its made out of aluminum. Any thoughts? I ordered one because its aluminum and different from the traditional sticker...

Looks somewhat close to what bjohns5 ordered. It's different and looks pretty good. What's your interior color scheme? I'm all for a unique look, just as long as it doesn't detract from the entire view. Once you get it, post some pics!

I have a 2012 3.8 Black on Black. I like that it's made of Aluminum and wont have to dish out $245.00 for a KDM replacement airbag. The size of the emblem is for the sedan too! Size: approx 6.5 × 3.5 cm （2.56 × 1.38 inch). Will post pics upon arrival.

It looks ok. If you want a flush look you need to take off the "H" logo. I'm not going to do that. I think I'm going to buy the kdm airbag. Lol. ( what I was trying to avoid doing). Plain and simply looks like a $5 replacement sticker. (Exactly what it was). Happy for now. May get the kdm airbag later for a Oem look.

Going to try out this steering wheel emblem. Made out of formed alloy and has a 3D appearance. Will post pics upon arrival.

Relocated original emblem as I wait for the korean auto imports steering wheel emblem. What do you guys think?

That looks great! It does change the look of the Genesis. I will have to check if it will work on my '09 Genesis.

My Loden Genesis sedan emblem came in from Korean Auto Imports. Perfect fitment! Looks great. IMO looks better than the black one, this one is made out of alloy! I can confidently say I do not need to buy the KDM wing airbag. Looks great IMHO!

Looks like a nice fit, but I can't warm up to the carbon fiber look sitting atop the "leather" grain of the steering wheel.

I think the faux carbon fiber look goes well with the faux leather look. Does not even look like carbon fiber to me. Like the look on this one better based on the resemblance of my trunk/hood emblem. Below is a all black steering emblem made out of metal. Looks more generic to me. To all their own!

I just received the steering wheel emblem and like the way it looks. My question is do I remove the H emblem to install this? If so, does anyone have a preferred way to remove the original emblem? I would think the new emblem would exhibit a better looking fit once the original is removed. Thanks for any help with this.

DO NOT REMOVE THE H. New one fits over the existing H.

You will not be able to remove it, and will likely commit suicide when you ruin your airbag trying to do it.
