Used to be Sept, then Oct, now November!

Hoping for great changes and enhancements.

Me too but I mostly use Google Maps/Waze for all of my navigation needs. I was using Apple Carplay but really like Android Auto now.

The thing I'm really hoping for is accurate speed limits in the HUD.

Also in Canada what I wish for is an updated damn Genesis connected app. It's still the same old one from at least 4 years ago. The UI sucks compared to the modern looking BMW app.
I believe in the US you have the updated one, here only Hyundai has the Myhundai with Bluelink.

I believe there is a Oct 12, 2023 Update available. Looks like added features are
- Added alternate routes on navigation
- Re-circulate air automatically when entering tunnels
- Purchase parking tickets through Genesis Pay

Anyone install the 10/12 update yet? At least on the Hyundai side they put them out and almost always pull them after a few days due to bugs.

I have it downloaded and on an SD card ready to install after work today. Anyone else try it?

I installed it yesterday and haven't noticed anything different. The speed limits still show up incorrect for many local roads in the HUD. Sigh.

I installed it as well this morning. Other than taking what seemed like forever to install, no issues that I have seen so far.

You can continue to sigh and do nothing if that is your choice or you can go to the map site and enter the corrected speed limits. No guarantee they will fix it but at least it’s doing something active rather than passively sighing.

But apparently not much different? Haven't installed yet

Genesis/Hyundai claims their maps are always at least 1 year behind.

I just meant literally no UI change, no graphical enhancements. Can't really confirm any map related updates..

So, why does the UI need to change every few months? It's okay when they add new stuff, but I've no interest in change just for the sake of change. Fiddle with it till it is pretty good, then leave alone.

I agree i got no complains here. Once they updated to get rid of that annoying Android Auto logo that took 30% of the screen, I've been a happy camper.

I don't agree. They could improve it a lot more, they chose not to do a thing at all...in 6 months!!!

So they've added the GV70 to the list of eligible vehicles, only now the Map Updater won't log in to the Genesis server.

+1 I agree with your disagreement. Their UI/UX and associated features miss the mark.
