Got mine updated to the new software successfully, no hiccups. I got the new bars for HVAC in the headunit. I do appreciate having updated maps, always nice to get accurate speed limits in the hud. If you guys see any other features added, drop them in - might just be some quality of life improvements for first gen g70s.

The G70 is not OTA capable. Read the Genesis notice in this post:

For mine, the date now says Aug 29. It used to say July 11. But it's STILL not freaking available for download. Wtf is going on with them

Likely a typo, you can still download the update using the updater app.

Look at this info from you car from (taken @astroshotit 's comment)

Identify the Software version, does it start with IKFL or IKPE2?
If it's missing in the updater app as well as the website table, you should report it to Genesis directly.

I down loaded the 2025 version and opened the file on my usb stick and see a “2024 G70 USA.ver” file.
So does seem the web site was a typo. That it should have been 2024-2025.

Correct, IKPE2 is the same as the 2025.
At least... It should be in theory. I'd still report it to Genesis.

If you want to see if the car detects it as a new update it should be the same port as the AA wireless I believe.

So this is my first update as I'm a new owner.....when I open the Na v downloader it says I don't have any registered cars but everything is in my connected services and everything. Any ideas?

Don't shoot the messenger.

The 2024/2025 G70 are the death gasp of the platform. They probably killed it on paper years before....so why would they pay to re-engineer. Also, maybe the Standard Gen5 is not compatible for some reason.

The 2023+ OTA has begun, however.

Untrue.

The 2023+ OTA started this morning. That post was describing the Wireless CP and AA update - the G70 won't get it.

The map and firmware/UI update is being pushed OTA.

How long is the update process - once usb inserted into the car?
Do I need to keep the engine running?
If in accessory mode, I get a warning that battery draining - but odds are the dash cam not helping. I just unplugged that power source. Not sure I long I need to run the engine to charge up the battery/generator.

Were you asked for a login? This was also my first time, and I was able to log in with my connected services information.

I rec’d a similar screen. Was able to get to a screen that sent me a passcode to my phone. Entered that and taken to the uploader page.
Maybe you have a screen on your desktop hidden by another?

Canadian update is available as of today through the app.
