  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

My 2015 Genesis has only 10,500 miles. Did some research on the tires currently on my car and realized I could do better than the Michelin Primacy MXM4 that the car came with. These are all-season tires and I only drive my car in the late Spring, Summer and early Fall, so I really don't need the all-seasons. I live in the northern most part of Michigan tucked in along the Lake Superior shoreline. Winter arrives in early to late October and usually isn't gone until late April. Winter here means an average of 220 inches of snow and a lot of road salt, thus, I don't drive my baby in that crap. For a nearly 3-year old car, it is in as pristine condition as you will find. As I said, it is my "baby" and I take care of her as such. Back to the tires. After quite a bit of research, I decided on the Firehawk Indy 500 Ultra High Performance Summer tire. I just know there is a slightly better ride and better handling that I can find out there. Hopefully, these tires will be the trick. She comes out of storage soon and I can't wait to get out and give it a try, new tires and all. I usually drive it one or two times a week and by doing that, each time I get into it, it is like driving a new car all over again. Never get tired of getting into this car.

You might be eligible forf free tires under the recall. I like the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3.

No, I already checked that avenue. Not eligible. Thanks for the suggestion though.
