  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

New to forum.. maybe questions asked before?

Listen here, son. You’ve got a lot to learn about lust. Been there, done that. đŸ¤£

They weren't subtle responses, they were opinions of people who no longer have desire or lust for driving their car in a spirited way. It sounds like you have all just accepted fate and no longer want to push your foot down. I am in the process of building something that no one else has, a fun, fast, sexy looking big booty sedan. KDMholic has a few options for aero and springs, BC racing has coilovers, tunes and things work. I may have an old man car (judging by all of the responses on this thread) but it doesn't mean you have to just settle. If you don't agree to the tuning culture then please do not post any more replies on this thread. You wouldn't post on a coupe thread saying its wasted money, so don't do it here either. THANKS

OK Tough Guy. You win the internet with your One Thread Wonder. Congrats!

When you get to 650hp call me. Anything less than that is half-ass.

Tough guy? All I am saying is if you have nothing constructive to add to this thread stop posting your opinion on if I should do something to it or not. I am going to be modifying it and making you in your walker driving under the speed limit angry that I have "ruined" a car that I enjoy. Dumbass.

650hp requires boost though . imo for me N/A is much more impressive like a work of art and the sound of a sweet symphony.

Having owned a total 4 Genesis vehicles, a 4.6, 2 5.0 V8s and 3.8 in the last 12 years, I can share with you the advice offered by most of the senior members, is right on the money.
I for one have expended some significant amount of money trying to pushing these NA engines beyond their designed limit without much success.
As far as many of us ‘no longer have desire or lust for driving their car in a spirited way’ I can assure you that is not an accurate statement, but rather the sum of the offered advice stems from the fact of seeing many people try over the years and not get anywhere, as well as, our desire to help newcomers avoid the same fruitless endeavor.

For you viewing pleasure, here is my humble take on what this beast can do out of the gate:

Genesis owner

In closing, Over the last 12 years, Beside 3.3T model, no one has achieved anything more than 15-20 HP gain on any of the NA model, period,
Having said that, many of us also get a little excited seeing a new comer try one more time in in the hope that we can all be proven wrong...
So on behalf of our jaded community, I wish you good luck and Godspeed...

If I was a young whippersnapper I would try to find a good extended warranty for a ‘13 Genesis, rather than any spend money to go 1 second faster to 60. Yup, that would be a good investment. Whoops, my teef fell out.

IDK WHY STOCK NUMBERS ARE LOW ( MY STOCK DYNO ON DYNOJET WAS 361 WHP) BUT AS YOU CAN SEE THERE IS STILL POWER THAT YOU CAN UNLOCK . PUT A TUNE TO THAT AND LETS HOPE THEY PULL THROUGH AND GET US SOME HEADERS , SEND OUT CAMS TO CROWER AND IM CURRENTLY IN WORKS WITH VENDOR FOR LIGHT WEIGHT PULLEY OBVIOUSLY WITH THIS VIRUS ITS GOING PRODUCTION IS DERAILED . ANYWAYS NOT BAD FOR JUST MINOR BOLT ONS.
