  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

While considering the move from a 2020 Subaru Forester that wasn't making me happy, the folks on the r/GenesisG70 page answered all my questions and showed me that this is the way.
I've had the car just over a month, love it and couldn't be happier

Looking forward to learning a ton and getting my smiles to the gallon!

Congrats! What color did you get?

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on your brand new Genesis G70! What did the G70 replace for you? I'm glad you found us. :)

Thank you

I was a long term Ford guy, mostly F150 and then took a stab at Subaru for their AWD in winter.
Had a forester and loved the AWD and playing in snow in winter but hated their technology and infotainment.
It was also a big eye opener to the amount of features you can get in a car compared to what you pay for in a truck for 60-70k

If you have good AS tires, you'll be very happy with the winter/snow performance.

Yes, this was a big surprise for me when I was looking for a truck in the past. It's like you have to pay extra just because it's a truck. Perhaps they feel you're using it for business... I don't know. But cars are so much more economical in various ways...

The folks on the subredit informed me as much when I was checking in on how the Genesis AWD compares to the Subaru AWD
This is my first ever with summer tires so looks like winters will be in the plan

Thanks again

Very nice. Congrats.

I was going to do the Uyuni White, but decided on the Havana Red. I think winter tires or at least all season tires are in my future as well. LOL

Nice HR!

I'm debating on ceramic or PPF.

That red is sharp!!!
We have the same interior!
I’m considering ceramic, just not off the fence yet
Thanks, I appreciate it.
I was going back and forth between the red and the Uyuni White.

I had great luck with the ceramic coating on my truck, so I'm going to stay that route.
Good luck with whichever you go with!

Thanks man, I appreciate it.

Both have their benefits. If you do PPF, will you do the whole car, or just the front and lower rockers and such?

Yeah, just the front...
