New to Hyundai

Hello everyone I just wanted to stop in and say hi. Although I'm an old car dog and have been in car sales for about 12 years I'm new to Hyundai. Wanted to "reach out" to the owners to get a feel for the brand. I work at a dealership near Charlotte, NC and we just got our first Genesis two nights ago. I must say I'm really impressed. Havent had the chance to drive it yet but hoping to in the next couple of days. I think the ride and drive is coming up and I'm really looking forward to that.

Anyway its nice to be here and I look forward to frequenting these forums. (They look great BTW )

Welcome aboard! Thank you for signing up! Do your best to Really become familiar with the Genesis. I have a feeling a Lot of people are going to come in asking about it. Try to be "the" salesman who knows it all...

^ Yep, seems like the majority of salespersons know nothing about Hyundai's flagship vehicle. An educated salesperson sells a car without saying much... if you know what I mean

Glad to have you here! I realize you don't work in the parts department, but have you heard/seen anything on Genesis OEM accessories? I'm looking for a carpeted trunk mat and splash guards, but I haven't been able to find anything about available accessories for the Genesis.

I actually spoke to my parts guy this morning. He said they havent received any accessories or brochures. I would have thought Hyundai would have launched the parts at the same time considering the potential for upsells and increased dealer profit. Oh well
