  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I'm so excited, I've wanted one of these Genesis cars for years and we finally purchased one. Found a 3.8L with both the premium and technology package (kinda hard to find in my area for some reason). I'll post up some pics later, and I've already ordered wing badging to switch out the drunken H logos. Great deal on the car, and for being 4 years old it only had 38k miles on it!

Disappointed in myself for not doing the research and going 2013 to have bluetooth streaming audio, but it's not a huge deal. Getting to know my car today, particularly setting up all my preferences.

Quick question, how do I update my navigation or is that even possible on this car?

Nevermind, answered my own question, have to order discs for V9 update, and spend $99.

Not sure if upgrading the nav is necessary. I just use my phone and have some addresses saved on the car if my phone ever dies.

It's a great car and I definitely feel you on the Bluetooth. I listen to the radio on short drives and use the aux on longer drives. if you search, others here have purchased some nice Bluetooth streaming devices on Amazon that allows them to listen wirelessly and still use the cars Bluetooth for phone calls.

I love the car, it's been great and I can say Hyundai might be my next car, either another Genesis or maybe an Equus when the time comes.

BT streaming was added to '13 Tech package models. In other words, you should already have it.

He said he owns the 2012. Look at the thread title.

Where did you buy the navigation update? Everywhere I find them says to contact a local dealer for the 2011.
