2012 Genesis Sedan 4.6 I had 4 new tires installed. The tire tech showed me one of the sensors was broken off from the mount when changing the tire. TPMS light was not on prior. He says it was just loose inside. I agreed to let them install and program a new tire sensor.
Long story short. The programming and relearn was successful, according to the tool. I saw them do it. They reprogrammed and relearned about 10 times, no joke. When driving the car, the TPMS light comes back on after about 10 miles. Brought the car back sevseral times and they also drove it and experienced it as well.
The tire placed replaced the new sensor with another new sensor and still same issue. I know they used a Autel TPMS relearn tool. What can or should I do? Can this relearn only be done thru dealer? Does the spare also have a sensor that they or I do not know about and thats causing the issue? Any help greatly appreciated.
