  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

New TSB - TPMS 2/9/2010

Note that Hyundai gives just 0.3 hours just to diagnose the problem. Geez, it took me longer than 0.3 hours just to read the instructions.

So far, I've been "lucky" in that my TPMS light has never come on. (I'm knocking on wood right now).

I already took their advice when I drove out to New Mexico in December, as I knew it would be COLD in North/West Texas and New Mexico, so before I left Florida, I put in an additional 4 lbs pressure.

New TSB for anyone having issues with TPMS lights, lots of good information, including who makes them and the technology involved. I think what plagues the Genesis sedan is found on page 13. Enjoy!
TSB - 10-SS-002 TPMS (TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM) GENERAL INFORMATION
Issued 2/9/2010

Thanks for the link. I've had my tpms light on for ever. I even brought it to the shop. They reset the code and about 15 minutes later it came back on. Tire pressure is normal... I'll have to print out this tsb and bring it along the next time.
