  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi and apologies if I'm posting in wrong place, didn't see a new member spot!

Just closed a deal on a 2013 Titanium R Spec with delivery scheduled on Jan 17th.
it has 16,000 km's and a set of winter alloys and snow tires as well as the regular rims and tires. Price before taxes was $29,461 which I thought wasn't bad considering CDN MSRP was $53,499. Really looking forward to the car and would appreciate any advice, tips etc from this auguat group! I'm already looking at switching out rear badge. Cheers Book 1

Welcome to the forum.
Debadging is the most common 1st mod for this car and sounds like you're on track.
why does it take that long to pick up the car?

:welcome: Where about are you in BC. As you can see, I live in the Okanagan Valley. There is a good group of Canadian Genesis owners on this site.

I traded my 2011 4.6 on a new 2013 R-spec all most to the day a year ago.

Sounds like you got a good deal on yours.

Dave

:welcome: ...and I hope it's the fastest color R spec :D

edit;
oh, nvm.... I see , it is the fastest color!

Excellent price. I paid $32000 after tax for a 2012 hyundai genesis sedan 5.0 R-Spec with 65000 kilometers. I f**ked up. Hard. And if you look at my thread, you'll see that I am in the worst possible situation.

Welcome! I'm another Okanagan Genesis Sedan owner as well. It's hard to find a pre-2015 V8 Genesis with less than 30,000KMS; I picked up my 2011 4.6 with ~23,000KMS last fall. I flew to Calgary to buy mine. Enjoy the ride!

Thanks for the welcome much appreciated.
Car is in Prince George BC and I am on Vancouver Island. Part of the deal was they deliver car to Ferry terminal in Vancouver hence the delay. If any of you get out this way let me know. Roads are good but traffic is slow!

I assume it is 6500 kilometers and not 65000 ?

Ottawa, ON here. Welcome to the club. Happy to see another Canadian here. Go Canucks Go! lol.

Titanium gray is the fastest colour. I know. I have one too! But we also have a heated steering wheel as well, which I doubt you will ever get to use.

Changed my trunk ornament to the Genesis wings. Dareck changed everything. If you need tips regarding LED lighting and stuff, he is the man to ask.
