  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

So, I now have had the 2019 Elite/Prestige 3.3T G70 for two weeks and what do I have to say?
1. Best driver's car I have ever had (vs. 2002 BMW 325, 2005 BMW Z4, 2013 Cadillac ATS, 2017 MB C300c, all bought new).
2. Initially, there were things that didn't appear to work correctly (viz., coasting, media volume lowering during phone call, automatic high beams, Forward Collision Alert,) but over time I learned that they did work.
3. Had a dated map version (12.5 vs 13.5). Genesis Connect got me the new version without any hassle.
4. And now, Genesis' great concierge service. When I got the car home and detailed it, I noticed that the metal trim over the driver's side window was full of brownish stains that nothing I tried could remove. Call the Genesis dedicated service manager at Napleton (West Palm Beach). He told me this was relatively common and that he'd have to order trim for all four windows (so be it.) Several days later, I get the call that the trim was in and that they'd be picking my car up in two days and leave me a loaner. ..and I'm 16 miles from the dealership. Damn, that is the greatest service I've ever had...I was quite impressed.

Well, that's it for now from a very happy camper. And, BTW, I'm sure that there are very few of you who aren't just as happy.

Great to hear! Also nice taste in previous vehicles. I've owned two of those.

Which two and which one was the best drive? Although the 325 is the classic entry luxury sedan standard, I found it to be second best to the ATS (2L, Lux). The ATS was almost a carbon copy (on purpose) of the E-46, but handled better. The C300c was luxury car before it was a driver's car...although it did handle well, but somewhat too soft.
