  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Pretty sexy!

Some years back one of our customers told me his wife had a Kia van. I sort of snickered under my breath. I guess I should call him and apologize. Damned nice looking car.

Saw the same video and was wowed away. I can not believe its a kia definitely growing strong and being a viable competitor this car looks like it should be in the luxury segment. Let's hope the materials and features match its looks.

Yes, very nice, tons of features. Nice job Kia!

I just don’t get it. Kia and Hyundai are their own worst enemies, at least here in North America. Both companies are under the same Koran corporate umbrella, yet they are fighting each other for sales. Fer gawdsakes, put your best designers in one facility and turn out the best product AND SERVICE you can! Then beat the pants off your competition.

looks good but i prefer the new sonatas more coupe like body and sharp rear trunk deck .

Beautiful car.

My one tiny nitpick (goes for many brands) is the steering wheel. I love having a large center hand grip on the bottom of the steering wheel to rest my hand on while on a long cruise and for that matter, most of my daily driving. This wheel has a small hole but doesn't appear large enough to hold while driving.

Looks a bit like the current design of the Camry on the outside

I wonder how much they do share. It would make sense for cost to share development. Combining can be good, but so is competition. I guess it depends on how it is handled. If the Kia brand was eliminated, would they all become Hyundai buyers?

IMHO they are doing a fine job to fill every segment as possible using the same platforms, while Kia tend to put out a more sporty/Masculine designs, Hyundai tends to soften up the outside a bit, while leaving the Genesis brand to chase higher (beside the K900 that could be considered as a halo car).

Like Ford/Mercury?

Indeed, with one exception where Ford/Mercury are not in the JD Powers top three slots.

Re Ford and Mercury: Note that when one disappeared from the market, it was the higher end line...yet Ford's highest end line, Lincoln, is still around.
