  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Took advantage of the 52 degree weather and detailed my Genesis. Didn't realize how dirty it was until I started.

Neighbors think I am nuts but I use a Toro leaf blower to dry it. Gets in all the nooks and crannies and prevents water spots.

Try a "California Waterblade." It's amazing how well it works.

Unless you can do a perfect wash job, using a Water blade thing can scratch the heck out of your paint if you happened to have missed a spot of grit.
I wouldn't take that chance on my car.

I've been happy with the WB.

If I do a halfa$$ job washing my car-won't that happen with anything I use to dry it. I've used the California waterblade for better than five years on five different vehicles and can't say I've seen any issues on any of them. I'm extremely picky about my cars and was skeptical about the waterblade when I tried it- but I'm very happy with the results. An added plus is the amount of towels that my wife has to wash after I'm done.
