  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Nice surprise with MyGenesis site today: I'm a new member of the million mile club...

My account shows my car with 1,042,896 miles, when it only has 7,784 miles. Ha ha. What the heck is going on with that site? Last time I logged in a few months ago, my mileage was in kilometers. This time is completely bonkers. Am I the only one? In addition, not too long ago, my car decided to 'speak' to me in Korean for a day. Geez. Thankfully, it reset by itself the next day, since I couldn't understand crap. Sent Genesis a message, but wondering if I'm the only one. Got there to make sure the insurance notification 'feature' was turned off, but couldn't find it anywhere. But I think it's tied to the 'driver score', which I turned off when new (and was still off), so all should be well (other than the mileage).

Just checked mine and it is spot on!

I have this issue to lol had it for over a year now. 1,042,487!!! Talk about a reliable engine HAHA in reality, i am at 21k.

Never bothered to report it because i know it doesn't have any bearing on anything other than just a data cell in some database.

Same exact mileage on mine 1,042,487 I don’t even think it ever changes.

Hey, that's the exact figure on mine too. Ha ha. WTF? Sent a message to Genesis, but it's still wrong (just checked). I don't really care, but hopefully Genesis is not thinking we're out of warranty:oops:.

I have an update. Just got an email saying that my mileage issue has been corrected. After checking my account, it was corrected. However, now the mileage to the next service is 1,042,242 miles:LOL:. Now I regret having replied with that remaining error, since I do my own maintenance, and hate getting their stupid 'service due' messages via both car and email, even when I have turned that setting off. Oh well. Just posted this in case others want it corrected:).

I too had the same problem and what I suggest you do is reported to them because they extended my free premium services for the amount of time that the system was not functioning at 100% operation. So I think I got like nine months added onto my free services from buying the car. But with a one of the last updates, they did. It’s back to the million mail thing so I have to notify them again and put a ticket in and hopefully I’ll get more extension out of it, tell me what time and many phone calls back-and-forth.

I just checked my car, and all is well. They initially fixed the mileage, but the next service mileage still showed over a million miles (lol). Now both figures are what they should be. Hey, asking for an extension of connected services is not a bad idea. Did you call, or sent a message? I might try that, and see what happens. I'm at almost 2 years of ownership, so 1 left (and only 8K miles so far).
